Am going away with the g/f for a weekend and she's said no to YHA or camp sites so having to look for B&B instead. Thinking around the Hope valley so any suggestions? Not taking the bike with me* so no need to consider decent trails etc.

Woodbine cottages in Hope and then walk up the road for exquisite beer in the Cheshire Cheese.

Not in Hope but on the outskirts of the Peaks, it's even got a bridleway outside the front door.
Plenty of walking, pub nearby, peaceful and superb views.
