Its been almost 4yrs since we've been abroad and I can't remember where we looked etc (I remember we booked the hotel direct in Palma/flights seperate).

WWW/spain-holiday.com is worth a look.It is all private villas,apartments and cottages on there.We have our cottage only on their site and do very well from it
I find it as cheap or cheaper if you leave Europe, particularly if you go for more than 2 weeks.
