I know there are lots of other Nikon people out there so...
Where is there in the UK that do a good job of CLA'ing a Nikon lens? Its an Nikkor AF-S 18-200 VR lens and a recent job in the caribbean has got it very gritty so it needs a full clean Lube and Adjust.
Anyone had good experiences anywhere?

send it back to Nikon? Canon have a range of UK dealers that are authorised repair centres, so surely Nikon do the same. Ring UK customer services and ask them?

Yeah there was plenty of dust in haiti - thats what you get for chopping down all your trees and burning them - wind soil errosion and soil that resembles talcum powder.
The rainy season starting there now is cutting down on the dust now... but causing mudslips, landslides and water based soil errosion.
So all in all a bit of a ****ed place.
