We will be in touch
Evening all!
As title says, has anyone found American style dill pickles over here in the UK?
Can only seem to find cucumbers and less tasty options. Want some tasty pickles to pop into some burgers!
Cheers, and sorry for the very OT post.
Waitrose plenty there the last time I look ...

Or the Polish pickles from large Tesco stores.

😀
Are they different to normal gherkins then?
My favourites are Krakus (Polish). I don't know how they compare with American.

The Polish ones are cheaper and as good if not better.
(This is not pickled - You should try the Tesco Polish cow tripe which is very nice Pamapol Flaczki W Rosole 500G )
There are also other pickles from Chinese supermarket from Asia which are very good.
Korean kimchi sesame leaf pickles are very nice but expensive.
Make your own. Quick pickle takes about 10-15 minutes. I like this recipe:

I will be making my own Korean style kimchi pickles when I have time next month. 😛
Presumably American picklers came from Europe 150 years or so ago so you should be OK with east European pickles.
Cowboy Pickles
Actually from Wales, but really bloody tasty
