I like vanilla flavoured coffee (yes, I am a big jey) but I don't like the sweetness you get from adding vanilla syrup, which is all that's available here in Clogland, so I want to order vanilla flavour beans from UK. I Google'd up the names of some places, but I wonder if the coffee-gnoscenti have some recommendations?
Whittard?
I don't like the syrup sweetness either but I find if you add about half the recommended amount then you get most of the taste without the sweetness.
why not put some vanilla pods in your coffee jar/airtight tub? A single pod will last for weeks giving off a subtle flavour. If you need to boost it, just scrape some seeds from the pod into your bean grinder with each load? Or is vanilla coffee a bit more intense than that?
