ebay. I've just bought two coats and a pair of sallopettes off ebay. The trousers have a couple of little scuffs on one leg but apart from that they're all effectively brand new.

My coat cost me £1.70, my son's coat cost me a fiver and the trousers were ridiculously overpriced at 11 pounds!!

be careful with cheap sallopettes - I bought some trespass ones once in an emergency and they were NASTY - all clammy and didn't breather - yuk.

Helly Hansen stuff is normally a good cheap option, or discounted Columbia might be better.

Look on ebay and similair for Rossignol stuff, this normally goes cheap but it will be decent kit.

TK to the Max every time. All my gear bar my boots are from there - helmet, gloves, goggles, socks, base layers, the lot.

Mountain warehouse just by covent garden, not that cheap, my jacket was about £70 and my trousers about £60 but it is good stuff.
