I don't know what's wrong with Gumtree but it's not letting me post an ad for a flat I'm renting out.

Can anyone recommend any other decent sites to advertise it?

Yup - Loot worked for me, but it was years ago. More recently I've always used estate agents, which I'm guessing you've covered off already

loot is more useful for flatshares and room lets.

I let my flat out through an agent. Theyve been very good for me the last 5 years.

I used to get lodgers through Loot - it was like a box of chocolates.
