Just lifted two off to paint behind as the plumber beat me to it with his fitting, sweet baby jeesus I'd thought stuff was getting lower quality and therfore lighter. ๐Ÿ˜ฏ and yes they were empty(ish)

new rads have never been lighter.. they are so thin if you get anything over 1.5 meteres check that they are straight as they bow/bend very easily

I can't imagine that they are any heavier than the old cast iron ones.

Finns between the 2 sides must add some weight. Makes up for the thinner material used in the body.

Had the joy recently of carrying our new rad up the stairs. 129kg.

I'm pleased that someone else takes radiators off to paint behind! I thought I was OCD - and I can't stand any sign of paint on the brackets either! I know I should get out more.
