Special Boat Service. Not a made up regiment either, just don't get heard of much compared to the SAS

SBS - an Australian broadcaster or a supplier of fishing baits.

School of Biological Sciences? Perhaps they're on a field trip out there?

Shakey boat squadron (as was)!
I think the lines between the regt and shakey boats are blurred more than ever ATM. Poole have been working in Afg while Hereford concentrated on Iraq. Not many water ops recently apparently.
Either could handle this.
