Planning on taking my mum to see the sea, she’s not been away since covid and is desperate to see some coastline, waves, beach. Just back from Woolacombe which isn’t bad- a couple of slopes I recon I could manage.
She can walk a bit but has COPD, so uses Oxygen on and off.
Any other places to think about- within 4 or 5 hours drive from Kidderminster?
Preferably not a shit hole- big crashy waves on rocks etc.

Black rock sands. You can park on the beach.
Woolacombe was going to be my suggestion down by the council car park end loos ect all on the car park.

It looks great- we used to have a caravan up at Abersoch (till we were booted off for being poor, and occupying a prime spot), so this part of the world has a real place in our family history.
Also could take in a nice mountain drive.

I think Barmouth has ramps down to the beach.
Not sure it fits the needs for crashy waves on the beach part.
West Kirby marine lake walk - flat tarmac along the wave edges.
Barmouth is a good call.

All have a promenade etc. Happy to supply more specifics, but suspect there are places closer that fit your needs
South Shields Long Beach is entirely accessible from the car park next to the amphitheater. We take my FIL there regularly with his chair or the very short walk from the disabled spaces in the car park. It’s flat between the sand and the car park.
Last time I was at North Berwick they had fat tyre wheelchairs available for use on the beach.
Don't know who you'd have to contact to access one, but I'm sure Google is your friend to find that out.

Newgale and Whitesands are both extremely wheelchair-friendly. Newgale has walkways at multiple points over the shale bank and toilets in the car park. Whitesands would be my choice though as it has the beach wheelchairs available from the bottom of the car park, staff to help out if you do get into bother and accessible toilets too. The disabled parking bays are right on the beachfront so even if she doesn't feel up to leaving the car she can enjoy the view, sounds and smells. The sand is also very firm most of the time hence why it's a favourite spot for kite landboarders, no sudden soft spots.
Brean near Weston super mare is nice. You can park on the beach so very accessible.
The Borth side of Dyfi also very nice with vehicle parking on the beach.
