Cooking for 4 adults on New Year's eve, at the moment I think I'll do a nice Beef Wellington, but interested in other thoughts and ideas.

Vodka.
Don't need food on NYE, eating would waste drinking time

Beef wellington is always a winner

As a little canape thingy, try dates wrapped in bacon and cooked in the oven. Flipping (sorry swear filter) delicious.

I did beef wellington a couple of years back - went down a treat.

£40 hunk of fillet steak was a bit of a shock in the butcher's 🙂 but it were reet lovely!

mm beef wellington a winner!

We are having lamb shanks in red wine with potato and celeriac gratin (and it's the last night of the year, so calories don't count!)

What's for dessert?

Strangley we have decided on beef wellington this year, sounds like the STW NY meal of choice.
