What's the best house insurance deal these days to include bikes? My John Lewis premium (which includes any item up to £5k) has gone up by £60 for no reason other than they've had more claims, so everyone pays....

i had to leave M&S when they deemed my new house in a flood area.

Aviva also cover high values bikes as standard, and dont have me down as in a flood area! Go figure!

Barclays were good for me - bikes not included as standard but price with them was still 2/3 M&S.

insurance4retirement.co.uk

don't be put off by the name as they also insure those who are still working.

cheers, will look at those later.
M&S quote came in nearly £200 cheaper than John Lewis and covers any item up to £4k.

The AA was pretty good for me.. Cheaper than M&S by a bit too.
Fairly standard 3 bed semi, with standard amounts of buildings and contents, personal possessions away from home, bike and my wife's engagement ring..
Was quite impressed.

Mrs r just changes from Sainsbury when they went from about 400 to 1200, we have never made a claim and nothing changed for us.

AA came out tops for us

M&S for me.

Bundled home and contents. House is 200+ years old so a lot won't touch it.

Having stood for 200 years you'd think it was a safe bet eh? 🙄

I'd been with AA for a few years but it went up a bit this year for no reason so I shopped around and got a much better deal with ESure
