Anyone else a rain gauge nerd?

I always mean to buy a decent weather station but just use a gauge and a spreadsheet.

pretty typical year here with 1958mm so far.

My kids broke the rain gauge but I live by a peat bog and I have a sunken grass play area in my garden.

When the ground liquifies it's rained enough.

Right now it's actually below average groundwater here (Limburg)

1.9m? Where are you located? Lakes?

We are currently only on 1050mm. 800 of which fell in the last 2 months. Would normally expect at least 1500mm per year
