Looking to give the wireless router a boost as there are parts of the house which have no reception. I can run the Ethernet cable under the floor into the living room and would like to use something like the apple airport express but it's pretty pricey, anyone got any suggestions?

I've got 2 homeplugs and a homeplug wirless access point which I was planning on selling.
Basically, you hook up one of the homeplugs to your current router and plug it into a nearby socket.
Then plug the wireless access point into any other socket in the house - that's it! You now have a wireless point which you can place anywhere in the house (no need to be anywhere near another wireless range or ethernet cable like most access points require, just a plug socket).
