We've had our last two for nothing but the price of an e-mail or two and half a gallon of petrol....
Freecycle is the place to look - so long as you don't mind CRT TV's - big, yep, heavy, yep.... bomb proof* (seem to be...)
Would love a flat screen but I got tired of reading reviews that suggested the image was the 'closest seen to CRT quality' - stick with CRT, then...
We've only had two from there are the first 'broke' - 'new' one same problem... finally tracked down to a faulty scart lead.....
