Offspring has chickenpox, so can't mix with the general population - is there anywhere we can take her tomorrow where she won't spread the plague? 😉

Why go out?
A pile of new books or art stuff will occupy her.

Aye, though she's got the rest of the week to do that, Monday is the only day she can conceivably get out as it's my day off.

This happened to my Dad when they took me on a chickenpox play date, i didn't catch it at that point either.

Pox party.

Great idea. Nothing lifts the spirits quite like potentially murdering someone else's child.

That's an odd way of thinking!

In the same boat here, spent most of the weekend inside, save for a couple of short walks with her sealed inside her own quarantine chamber, aka the buggy rain cover.

Caught it off nobeerette, she was 4 months, me 32. She was neither up nor down, I was floored for 4 days, horrible. Only time I've ever been bedbound as an adult.
