I used to be partial to the chalky notes of Thames water, but since moving I don't seem to be able to find it anyway.

Now trying out Severn Trent water, which is quite nice. Can anyone recommend me some others?

I've always found kitchen to be the best source, bathroom just has that extra 'standing in the tank in the loft for a week' aftertaste I can't bear.

Yorkshire watter, the soft variety, is perfect for beginners and experts alike.

Just stay out of London, you'll be OK.

I'd steer clear of Southampton and Bristol waters. The former was rank, and the latter like a beach. No clue how so much sand came thru the tap.

The water that runs West off the Pennines is of course far superior to the stuff that runs East.

Distilled. In your own shed and copper, using a genuine Irish peat fire.

I run my camelbak tubeless. It saves several grams. Albeit I die of dehydration.

Well, if you're happy with home brew, go ahead, but conisseurs will use proper Bohemian peat.
