Lord of the Rings - any of 'em. I mean, I just don't like the thought that 3 hours later I'll still be going with it.
Only watched the Godfather II a couple of months back. Not bad, although the special effects and car chases weren't up to much. And there wasn't any computer hacking at all - what's that about?!

The Godfather trilogy is terrific, provided you're into mafia films. Carlito's Way is good too.

The godfather series.. just doesn't interest me

Schindler's List +1, not for any particular reason though, just never caught it at the start.

I've never seen any of the Star Wars films.

I've seen enough clips of them in my years but never actually sat and watched any of them all the way through. There was a time when i thought I ought to, then a time when i decided not to because it's a reasonably unusual thing to have never seen them. But now my daughters are nearly old enough to be able to start to follow them and enjoy them, maybe in couple of years time we'll all sit down as a family and watch them for the first time together.

Godfather here too.

I have only seen 3 of the Star Wars films, and of those, 2 of them only once.
Haven't seen any of the newer ones, but they don't qualify for the tone of the thread anyway, do they?

Every year I print off the IMDB top 100 and try to cross a few more unseen films off. Think I'm down to:

- Godfather Pt II (started a couple of times, not run all the way through yet)
- The Good, the Bad and the Ugly
- Casablanca
- Seven Samurai
- Rear Window
- Citizen Kane
- Lawrence of Arabia
- Paths of Glory
- Spirited Away
- Das Boot
- Gran Torino
- Metropolis

I've not seen many must-see classic movies. The most egregious one probably though is Goodfellas, as one of my mates goes on about it a lot and I bought it on DVD several years ago but still haven't gotten round to watching it.

Only seen twenty minutes of one of the original star wars films, thought it was utter w**k and didn't bother watching any more. Have heard Seven Samurai is great, have seen the anime series and was really impressed.

Yeah, I've just seen them, both excellent films. Clint really can direct rather well.

I've not seen the Big Lebowski.
