Just replaced our old Humax with a new Humax HDR-2000T.
It has gone back once already - picture keeps freezing
& the new one is the same.
Also the disc is very noisy.
So what shall I get - thinking of a Panasonic DMR-HWT230 for no more reason that we have somne John Lewis vouchers that need spending

Sent my humax back too with similar issues. Bought the Panasonic and am very happy with it. Everything just works. The only minor gripes are that iplayer is a bit slow to navigate and you can't use iplayer while recording. The pvr side of things is great.
