Jon Auer - Songs From Our Demise
Mark Lanegan - Field Songs
Biffy Clyro - Only Revolutions

The fruit salad comment made me chuckle.

Now hear me out on this one, Paola Nutinis new album. A friend insisted i borrowed it and tbh I thought it was mince. However after a couple of spins it's growing on me. He sings in a really weird Alex Harvey/Bob Dylan and the pub singer voice. At 1st annoying.

Ok flame me then.

The Voice Of The Blood by Abbess Hidegard of Bingen. Etherial 12th century music that's quite lovely. Cerys on 6Music played a track from 'A Feather On The Breath Of God' a month or so back which made me check it out. Lovely chilled music.
