Is devastated by such cruel rejection
I've had worse offers... ๐
Heh!
I once took a lass out with the offer of a kebab, bottle of white cider and sit in the park.
She actually seemed a bit dissapointed that I took her to a nice pub instead! ๐
I know, I know; I've just got a way with the laydeez. S'just me natural charm, innit? ๐
Everything is for show. Not long ago he said a mate of his had bought a ยฃ17 grand mtb, I just rolled my eyes.
Kids round here; 'nice bike mate, how much was it?'
Not 'how fast can it go?' like when I was a lad. No, just it's monetary value. Sad.
I know who I blame....
That Tesco advert is fantastic! ๐
I miss a good British advert...
S'great innit? Typical bloke too! ๐
'Buy necessary thing I'm sposed to, or exciting shooty killy game?'
We are such children...
I don't think I've ever gone into a shop for one thing and left with something completely different instead of the correct thing. Tend to buy both things... ๐
I know people who have gone into the LBS for a chainring and left with a full bike. Either he was super materialistic or that was one good salesman. Dunno if he bought the chainring...
went for a tour round dairy a week or two back, they had a creamery on site, the impressive part, two piles of pots, one a premium brand one a cheap brand, exactly the same contents went in. So you walk into a supermarket the two pots will be next to each other and the only difference will be the pot.
Marketing don't you love it.

[ If you listen closely it sounds like a Golf ]
insecurity and ignorance.
anyway, fit is more important than anything else in boots, like in bikes.
we are materialistic because we live in society.
I think part of it is fear of being without possessions we need to live so we accumulate a surplus. Then in part it is for status. iWant. And a part that it will make us more satisfied with living.
