[#11252723]

It is hiding in my office and then every 10 minutes or so flies under my desk and starts walking up my legs. Normally by the time I have landed after jumping out of the chair it has vanished. I just managed to get this photo before it disappeared again. It is a very similar colour to the carpet.

Will it eat my carpets?
If I fall asleep and it crawls further up my leg, when will it stop?
How do I trap and release it with least stress and damage, assuming I can find it?

It moves too fast for the blow torch but on a separate note, anyone know how to patch repair carpets?

Wow - just had a moment with a moth.

It was crawling up my leg and as I pulled back from the desk I held my hand out to it. It landed on my hand and stayed their while I walked across to the window, opened it and released the moth into the night.

BTW - What do you call a female moth?

A Myth

It’s a Boring Brown Moth, a bit like BBB’s to birdwatchers - boring brown birds.
