& why have I had about 10spam emails from it to my googlemail account today?

Think it's a bit like Gumtree - second hand mart in the US - may be bike specific I don't know but there are quite a lot of s/h bikes on it.

I bought a pair of rare Arnet sunglasses from someone on Craigslist. A bit risky as the lady didn't have paypal so I had to trust her and send cash. Worked out ok, but I wouldn't make a habit of it.

I once posted an ad on the casual encounters section with just the words "W4MMM stuff my inboxxx" and received about 300 emails some of them of an unsavoury nature
