windows security essentials about the best round (free and deep protection) failing that Linux

Microsoft Security Essentials. That's all I run now and I never have any problems.

Downloaded it and it has already beaten the poo out of the "digital protection virus" Thanks STW,off for some hard to get hold of moosehead now.

AVG free. Won't slow your machine down like Norton or MacAfee
