But the drivetrain on my Canyon is worn to oblivion, so I suspect a 1x11 setup might be obtained in the sales

Won't list the booze I bought earlier, 'cos I usually buy myself some at Christmas anyway, so this is my pressy to myself, because I've been a good(ish) boy all year and I deserve it: http://www.jottnar.com/uk/mens/base-layer/uller/
Not in a sale, it's not even available just yet, 4th of January apparently, but it'll go nicely with the Fenrir jacket I did get in their sale for £65 less than list.
😀

A few weeks ago i bought myself a showers pass refuge jacket (brilliant-so chuffed with it) and in a fit of madness i appear to have bought a set of Bilstein B16 PSS9 coilovers for my ongoing rebuild of my 84 MK2 Golf GTI, these will hopefully give me the shunt up the arse to get it back on the road n' trip to spa next year after a two year rebuild including acid dipping the bare shell - for what i have spent so far i could've bought a mint 2008 R32 but we all know the MK2 is the best GTI don't we? 😉

I inadvertently ended up with one of these:

[img] [/img]

only because I decided that this:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Wusthof-Classic-Piece-Kitchen-Accessory/dp/B00005MEGJ/ref=sr_1_1?s=gift-cards&ie=UTF8&qid=1451001049&sr=8-1&keywords=wusthof

was a much better present. So I decided to keep the above for myself, I needed a good knife anyhow. 🙂

I bought myself a watch, some Jawbreakers and some other sunglasses but they were sort of leaving presents from work (i.e. paid for by redundancy money).

I need a new laptop - old one is 6 years old and I want to run Zwift/Trainer Road. But that's very Christmassy.

Um... a good selection of booze and letting myself drink more than normal probably counts.

Been looking at them for a while, and then the bike club sent me a 20% discount code, so it seemed a shame not to!

Both are good knives IMO. I was also thinking about a petty knife from the brands I listed in my thread ... hmmm ... I think I might end up getting them.
