Had a bit of a disaster last night. Trying to wedge too much stuff in the freezer, i snapped the plastic flap to the shelf inside in the middle. I than thought I would remove it before it got any worse, and managed to snap the hinge off. I also cut my finger in the process.

So, what type of glue for fixing plastic things that will work in a freezer (the finger will fix itself)

Tensol? Let it cure outside the freezer though!

Milliput epoxy putty? works in all kinds of freakish conditions. Might not be a pretty repair, though you can get it in white.

Do you mean cure in the freezer or stay stuck at low temp? Epoxies need heat to cure so won't work unless you warm the plastic up first (plus sticking most plastic well isn't easy.)
Do you know what sort of plastic it is? There may be a mould symbol saying something 'HDPE' or'PA'

Google for spares for your make and model. You might be surprised!
