Was leading a London to Brighton road ride today. I had a route planned on paper maps but due to rather inclement weather they were useless... they'd have got wrecked if I'd taken them out of my pocket. One of the others had a Garmin with mapping on it so we were ok in the end so I'm wondering about getting something similar, but ideally without spending a fortune.
What does STW recommend?

Start looking at the Etrex 20. Prices and features go up from there.
