I have to work abroad for 2 weeks and my Windows XP work laptop has Windows Media Player, but not the codecs to decode DVD films.
I have local admin rights, so what free software should I download and install to watch normal DVD films?

VLC media player seems to play everything I chuck at it....

I use it for playing all video files I have on my laptop, excellent software
