Got a blind to hang. It need to be hung in the window recess, fixed to the underside of the stone lintel. I'm thinking it's gonna take some better fixings than the usual rawl plugs that are likely to pull out.

Any ideas? What about those big screwbolts/plugs that are used to hold windows in place, overkill?

Decent plugs into a stone lintel should be fine

Rawlplugs will be ideal.

Thanks. I should say I've had issues with regular brown plugs coming out of the crumbly stone/brick. And it's quite a heavy blind. Not a little roller-blind.

I was looking at these two types:

Are you blinds made of lead for an xray room?

Drill hole deeper and double up on the plugs with a longer screw.

7mm hole, 100 mm deep, tap first plug in with screw, then second. Use 80mm size 10 screw.

ETA: Using Brown plugs, you may have to cut the end to get the first one in depending on make.

Gripfill is good with rawl plugs into dodgy bricks. Squirt some in, push in the plug, let it semi dry then fit the screw

All this seems a bit amateurish. Drill hole, fit correct size plastic plug. Fit correct sized screw. Hang Blind.
If you have crumbly brickwork or hollow areas. You need to re-think your blind choice or hanging method. Some are able to be hung from the back, onto window frame, it really pays to have some experience and /or a clue.
Also remember that the more holes you bang into a lintel, the less integrity it has. Particularly if you're planning on drilling though to next week.
Frame fixing screws are designed for fixing laterally though the frame to prevent forward or backward movement. They are not load bearing fixings.

If you are drilling into the underside of a window reveal, there should not be any "Bricks," The nature of a lintel is that it is in one piece and spans the opening for which it's providing support.
