Mrs FD has decided we need a TV for the bedroom, so whats the cheapest half decent 26" TV you can buy with freeview built in, that will last more than 2 years !

A 26" flat screen will probably look a lot smaller than you imagine. A 32" will probably be better, as you're going to be viewing from as far away as you would be in your lounge.

I got my kids Akura 26" full HD TV's 3 years ago for about £150 each from Makro.
Superb for the money, and they've been fault free, the DVD player is fine, dunno about the Freeview as they have V boxes in their rooms.
26" is plenty big enough for a bedroom.

Thanks for the advice so far. It looks like £150 is the cheapest you can get in any brand really, a choice between Finlux & Hitachi
