if I refuse to look like a USA tourist board advisor? Just been to next to buy 3 or 4 plain casual/tee/sweat sorts but everything had DENVER, COLORADO, USA or SAN FRANSISCO emblazoned across it. So I went to Cotswold and Blacks but they are the similar with everything having TNF across the front.

I can't be the only 40 something who doesn't want to look like a walking billboard. What brands do you lot buy?

I love sombrio t shirts, you can get them off wiggle and crc. They're normal t shirt prices, and lovely quality, with pretty cool designs too.

Fruit of the Loom for plain tees, super cheap multipack buys on Amazon.

American Apparel are alright if you're a racing snake, quality not what it was though and their shops are staffed by some of the worst people on earth.

Another vote for Sombrio.

Some Firetrap and Diesel can be subtle, others not so.

No please no superdry - so 3+ years ago!

Actually for non branded Sainsburys do some great ethical cotton ttshirts for about £6.

Howies are great for branded and if you feel rich try some icebreaker merino ones...

Personally at 35 I have decided I have grown out of anything that has any heavy branding on them and would rather go for soothing well made/ethical.

Ericemel, I knew there had to be someone else out there like me.

Allthepies, you are right, I am turning into grumpy old man.

I'll check out Sombrio thank you.

i think my teenage children would refuse to be seen out with me if I bought anything Superdry!

Please keep them coming.

If you want plain T Shirts I can do you a nice deal on Fruit of the Loom and [may fave's] Hanes Beefy Tees. Although I see the site isn't showing all the colours.... I fix that later!
There's also a STW discount of 15% on orders over £20 - just use this code at the checkout: be3a8dc373

Superdry shirts have a weird fit, mine is all baggy around the arms and neck but seems to fit fine everywhere else. Wouldn't buy again but it was on sale.. I just go to skate/surf type shops and get t-shirts on sale that I like.

I saw sutsu recommended on here a while ago, bought one that I liked the look of but the vinyl print bit is shit, it's all sticky so it attracts loads of fluff and looks dirty.

CFH - I have that The South West t-shirt. Got some funny looks when I walked past The North Face stand at a trade show in the States!

Anything without big brand labels on.

If I wanted to be an advert, I'd wear a carrier bag thanks.

Yunki, that's superb!

Bravo, if you want real fun in the US, try wearing a pink shirt to a business meeting somewhere like Tennessee or Texas....!

Quicksilver, the logo goes from subtle to gawdy. Perfect with my beret and French stick:

You can't go wrong with Sunspel T shirts, expensive but very well made.

I wear their pants, and can attest that their quality continues in to that range of products as well.

buy plain Ts and get them printed. printing prob costs more than the t-shirts, but still... then you're truely an individual.
