MegaSack DRAW - This year's winner is user - rgwb
We will be in touch
Just curious really.
A delayed reaction to the new years resolution thingy, started me thinking that I should pick up my Ukelele again. But with my other interests I dont think I will have the time to do it justice, and give it a proper go!
Ok, Mountain biking has on and off (but most of my life) been my number 1 time filler and passion.
Swimming is number 2, plus when I get the time I like to do a spot of Birding.
Cheers
drinking nice beer, with my good lady.

Reading lots, taking lots of photos, listening to lots of music, recorded and live, walking in beautiful countryside, beer...
Shooting; cameras, rifles and shotguns.
Fishing and photography.
Lechery, stalking, frottage and knitting.
Cranking and cross dressing
Mountains generally - walking/grade 1 scrambling in Lakes and N Wales. Watching the mighty Swansea City away as now live nowhere near Swansea! Meeting mates for some quality beers - none of your cooking lager junk. Occasional badminton when we can be arsed to sort it!
Beaten by a mere 9 seconds to the first silly post
You were joking?
Fell running and video games.
Skateboards were my first love... Still smitten 20 years later.

Fell Running and Cyclocross are the bestest hobbies so far.
Ones suitable for public places anyway
Main interest: kayaking; fla****er, whitewater any water.
Cycling and stuff is secondary.

Hey Rorschach,
Is that you?
If so those waves are mahoosive
Crush, pictures or it's not believable!
As for me, I do a lot of running and quite a bit of shooting (shotguns, rifles and pistols). Oh, and walking dogs.
When i'm not sitting on my arse in front of the telly , i'm in doing something with the Celica gt4 in the garage , at the minute i've got some nise shiney bits that should take it past the 500bhp mark , oh yeah ,it's gonna be fun then 😀

Kindle, cake and cups of tea. Skiing was my other hobby, but I made it my job and soured on it. Might try a couple of runs tomorrow though. Got some Jaffa Cakes in my coat pocket.
Daaarts! Play in my local league and have played super league (year off this year due to my first kiddie being born).

Cool.
As for the OP's Uklele mention, recently bought one, and can't help to pick it up and smile. My favourite peice is ACDC's Back in Black.
Motorbikes and riding them on racetracks.
Sailing at th moment, in fact I've gone right off bikes in the last 6 months after 20 odd years of being obsessed by them.
Think it was related to overtraining and bein shit at racing that put the final nails in the coffin, maybe I will get back into it when the spring comes.
I enjoy rock climbing and love skiing, but the responsibilities of being a Dad have meant those activities are a very rare treat
My biking has kind of taken a back seat at the moment apart from the daily commute on the CX bike, but not been out on my Turner FS for ages, soon to be remedied by a night ride.
Karate (and associated fitness) is my main focus at the minute. Train twice a week at the dojo, but weeknights its weight training, running (slow jogging by some of your standards) & punchbag workouts.
Was into guitar for a while but havn't picked it up in some time, like a bit of PS3 action and also wanting to get into photography with an immanent purchase of my 1st DSLR.
Also have a woodburner so wood scavenging, chopping, splitting and associated powertools and McMoonter envy are also a bit of an interest/obsession! 🙂
Hts, can I come and play? That looks ace!
Cryptic crosswords. Rock and roll!
Drumming in all sorts of bands, theatres and churches. Singing in choirs and bands. Listening to music of all sorts both recorded and live. Used to play a lot of squash but somehow I'm not doing it any more apart from an occassional game at work. My other great love is naval history.
music, weight training and associated nutrition.....
Model railways 😳
Land rovers, v8s , 4x4s and tools of all kinds
Diys becoming a slight obsession through necessity but the sense of achievement after its complete is good 🙂
Drawing mainly.
I like walking the dog too
Computer games
Reading. Yes, it's actually a hobby of mine that I put time aside to do.
My wife has never recovered from having a child and sleeps at every given opportunity so I sit here staring into space while my Son climbs the walls. Can't do anything because I spent all our money on bikes I dont want to ride.
Music
Reading
Walking
Tossing it off on the internet
raving boozing and painting..
although these days it's mostly washing, cleaning, mediating and tidying up after my [s]effing[/s] darling kids..
I think my hobby is collecting hobbies. I'll have a go at anything.
Over the years I've tried my hand at rock climbing, running, field archery, power kiting, motorcycling, skydiving, juggling, snow blading... I could go on. I've dabbled with music but lack the time and ability to be any good, so the closest I get there is Rock Band.
More mundanely, I like the same stuff that everyone always say they like. Reading, listening to music, movies, watching telly, computer games, killing my liver. Oh, and spodding on the Internet, of course.
rc cars is my 2nd love recentley sold off all my nitro kit as i was in ait of money troubleafter a huge job move, but now restarting with electric and found a buggy racing club so hopeing to attend this year.

I do miss my Rc car racing. I've stopped and re-started it so many times I've lost count. Great fun though and frighteningly serious at top level.
power kiting
Did you do this with a land board, buggy or just the actual kiting? I've just bought a 4m Peter lynn power kite. Not sure whether to brave a land board to go with it?
Primarily just the kite, though we do have a Flexifoil buggy. I'd be happy to part with it if you're looking to buy one; it takes up a load of space and hasn't been used in forever. I've got a wardrobe full of kite gear and camping gear. Oh, camping, that's another hobby! I've got an RC car as well, which is similarly unloved.
Never tried a landboard, but I do fancy one.
skiing and pyrotechnics
might have to combine some of these interests one day
Apart from mountain biking, road cycling, riding my cross bike, posting on cycling forums, watching cycling on telly, visiting bike shops on Sunday afternoons, browsing cycling websites, reading cycling books and magazines and organising club rides, I have a wide range of other hobbies and interests. Just can't quite remember what they all are at the moment.
I did have a friend once who didn't like bikes, but I no longer see him, the weirdo.

How difficult did you find the buggy to pilot with the kite? I'm currently trying to get to grips with wind windows and all that malarkey.
Road riding, hill walking/scrambling/backpacking, bit of climbing (although really only down at the wall these days), play a bit of squash and try to go for a run a few times a week. Then there's all the obvious stuff like reading, listening to music, films etc etc etc.
Used to surf a lot. It's just too impractical living 100 miles from your favourite break. Got a few power kites too. Don't come out very often. Good fun though.
I swim a lot now and also teach water based lifesaving and life support.
Finding time to ride the bikes is a full time hobby in itself.

It took some getting used to; you're basically steering in two places, one with the wheels and one with the kite, and it takes a bit to get your brain around the coordination. I'd definitely recommend getting used to the kite on foot before complicating things, you want the kite to be predictable. It's a bit easier to recover from mistakes when you've got use of your legs (-:
Kite killers come in handy, too. That was something I found out the hard way. Blades and gusty winds are a terrifying combination.
Max torque , we require exterior pictures of that 🙂 .
Looks ike the cockpit of my mates mk2 escort with 24v cossie, but he doesnt need a laptop in his , your looks a bit more exotic than even his.
Bob,is it the violence, gender or skin colour that attracts you?
To the guitar.
Maxtorque, nice 'office', compact and comprehensively equipped! Exterior pics would be nice... 😀
What donkey does it have? 😉
Guitar, electronics, war history, sport (badminton and football) and, of course, bikes.
Hells bells.
Indoor wall climbing
Rock and metal gigs, concerts, festivals.
