I bought this for my sister's birthday one year, as a real 'I haven't a ****in clue what to do' present, expecting to get slated. She loved it, so much so that she's since gone out and found a couple of other books by the guy.
I'm reading Blood Meridian by Cormac McCarthy. Hard going! My next book is a collection of Lovecraft, which will also be quite heavy going, I reckon... 🙂
