so you're suggesting that I install i-fart & i-pub on the wifes iPod, I'm concerned that I could be made 90% redundant if I do that!! 😀

Fizz weather
Fstream (youl'll need to go to www.bbcstreams.com for the compleat URL's then you'll be able to get all the BBC streaming radio stations. Mmmm, 6Music: yummy).
Last FM
Shazam
Ereader
Wordbook
Tioti TV+
iManual
Flixster
Starwalk
Allsubway
London Mini AtoZ

Shazam will work on a Touch, you just need a pair of 'phones with a microphone suitable for an iPhone.

Oh, and Clinometer is brilliant for angle checking, and when you lay the Touch flat it becomes a bubble level, but any of the spirit level apps are really handy for things like saddles...;0)

i like the monopoly and sim city... .. avoid any gps apps and those requiring audio input....

also the complete shakespear... facebook if she must... air sharing to swap files between computer and ipod ( not sure if wintel compliant) palringo to do all the messengers when on a wifi network .. ebay to snap up those bargains on the move ... converter and currency.. language phrase books .. tap tap .

the livestrong one is very good - I used it for a bit, but takes too long if you have to use the 3g network - if you're wifi it's a lot quicker so better.

Ones I have are:

ifooty
shazam
stanza
ebay
remote
livestrong
brain tuner
where
joost
pangeavr
trailguru

All the others i've tried have been pretty shite and come off the phone very soon after.

Also go to http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/ and you should see the iTouch specific version of iPlayer. Then press the + at the bottom of the screen and choose "Add to Home Screen" option to add it to the main screen.
