My good lady is WFH and will be for the foreseeable future so we're doing the study out properly.
Getting an Ikea Bekant sit/stand desk, new chair etc.
One problem is that she uses 2 x 23" screens and a Dell laptop (screen & keyboard are separate) which she uses for video calls etc.
We can get an arm to hold both of the 23" screens but is there a solution to hold the laptop screen at the same height?
It doesn't have VESA holes so can't be bolted to an arm..
I literally just ordered an adjustable angled laptop stand from Amazon.
It was £15.99 and from a company called Jumkeet but there was plenty of choice. I got that one as it was Prime eligible and near top of list.
It puts the laptop on an angle to gain height and is metal mesh based for cooling. Can't seem to post a link from the app but was high up the list when I searched "laptop stand adjustable".
For me (who uses a VERY high monitor due to a funny body shape) it may want to go on a small additional riser, which I'll make to match the desk.
Yeah, have a look on Novatech, they've got loads of different mounts for monitors, monitors with laptops etc. They're quite space saving too.
That said, personally I'd be looking at a webcam and just leave the laptop closed. Even my Tech helpdesk guys don't use 3 screens anymore and having screens of different sizes gives me a headache.
I run my laptop screen below my main screen, no reason it couldn't work with dual screens above. Would that layout work?
I find multi sized screens useful. Just leave email/slack running on a small one then main work on something larger
I’ve got a couple of these and a 24” monitor, DP and HDMI I’m so I can use for both laptops or just have Eurosport on one while using the other laptop for video calls and the main screen for work.
