Following on from my recycling thread, all shops in Wales are being forced to charge a tax on carrier bags maade from plastic from October 2011, anything from 5p per bag upwards, the 5p goes to the welsh assembly,
So when venturing over the biorded take some bags for your supermarket sweep.
The Welsh.........what more can i say..........
i believe the tax will only apply to english shoppers in wales

The carrier bag tax was proposed a while ago and is only just coming into force. Nothing to do with the recent referendum.

I understood that the 5pences would go to a charity of the shop's choice. I may be wrong!!
