some posh ------- have announced they are getting married and the whole world stops according to the beeb.

Maybe they announced it today so that no one would notice the country paying out millions to people who they colluded in the torture of.

I have already booked the day off work so I can sit down in front of the telly and enjoy the Royal Wedding.

Prince William is to marry Kate Middleton next year after the couple became engaged in Kenya, Clarence House says.

It must be true, Clarence House has said so.

Will we get a day off work? If so I will give a shit.

If we do get a bank holiday let's have an STW couldn't give a monkey's ride.

If they get spliced on a Saturday I will feel cheated.

first out of date sausage rolls, now calling the Heir to the throne gay, is there no limit to the perils M_F is subjecting himself to today!

Will the chronic food poisoning get him before his imminent trip to the tower!

Setting a date for spring / summer 2011. That's pretty quick. You don't possibly think......

If they get spliced on a Saturday I will feel cheated

Bound to be a Friday. They'll have no chance of getting a venue, DJ and photographer for a saturday on that short notice.

The Royals did that did they? What a load of bollix.
I thought we had a Government running the joint and a Monarchy without any real power.

Anyway, Kate Middleton is hot.

I wonder if they can tempt "Big Reg" from the Railway and Naturalist out of retirement to DJ? He was awesome at my wedding. We started off with the theme from Thunderbirds, peaked at Camouflage by Stan Ridgeway and ended up with 633 Squadron.

It isn't secret - it's next to that big river in that big city, got big towers and men in fancy dress stood outside.

Great, I'll book the day off and ride all those cheeky trails the red-sock brigade frequent. Won't have been that quiet since the day his mum died (brilliant ride was enjoyed that day)

Why is it bad to say 'pardon' or 'toilet' in the presence of royalty, as her mother is alleged to have outrageously done? Have I missed something? Should it be 'fack off out of one's road, one is desperate for the shatter'.

I thought he way gay anyway.

It hasn't stopped his father getting married twice.

So long as there is a bank holiday and we can all ride for the day, we should give a shit.

"Won't have been that quiet since the day his mum died (brilliant ride was enjoyed that day)"

A bit sick perhaps, but I also had a good ride that day. I didn't fancy a day of being miserable in front of the telly.

In light of what is going on with "Perkins Gate" I would just like to point out that I wasn't me who first mentioned this.

He (and Harry) seems like a decent bloke so good luck to him and I wish them well.

But now we don't need to hear any more about it thanks.

Well now that Queenie has embraced the interweb and is on Facebook, perhaps they should follow her lead and do a live video feed of their wedding night.

On Radio 6 music news at lunch time they were interviewing some "of our boys" in Afghanistan to get their reaction to the happy news. One squaddie said he was "quite chuffed".

Thanks for that BBC, Lord Reith will be looking down with pleasure and indeed pride that his legacy doth live on...
