It keeps asking for a java update, and an avanquest update. I've run virus checkers which showed nothing, then let these programs run, but the request keeps coming up..
any ideas what it's doing?

i let it update, but then it comes back up again as soon as i log on.
Both on the java and the avanquest thing.

You can turn off the java auto update thing.
