OK, so we all know the drek that sneaks through the filters, Viagra, watches, Nigerian businessmen with a few million dollars surplus, etc, usual stuff. So I had an email from American Airlines a short while ago confirming my booking to Montgomery on the 18th:

Dear Customer,
FLIGHT NUMBER AA553
ELECTRONIC 432922646
DATE & TIME / JANUARY 18, 2012, 11:22 PM
ARRIVING / Montgomery
TOTAL PRICE / 254.58 USD

Please find your ticket attached.
You can print your ticket.

Thank you for using our airline company services.
American Airlines.

What the hell is that about?
Anyone got any suggestions? I've never booked with AA, and I've certainly never had a desire to go to Alabama, which i assume this is where this Mongomery is.

Direct your question the American Airlines, I'm sure they won't be angry to learn that they are possibly being used as part of a scam and happy in equal measure if they've made a genuine mistake.

Not sure where the link goes, it's a .zip, which I can't open directly on my phone, and I'm doing a load of importing into iTunes at the mo'. when I get a minute I'll check it out on the 'puter, and see what it does. I'm sure it's a spam, as toys sez, but it's a new one on me, and I was a little surprised when I saw it, to say the least.

Cheers, toys, I'm sure it won't do much on my Mac, but, as always, prevention is better than cure, so I'm binning it unopened in my main mailbox on the 'puter.
