Our telly is going downhill, It's about 15 yrs old so it's time for a new one, can someone please give us some guidance in the telly minefield!
We would like,
HD,
ESPN & Eurosport.
NOT Sky (not at those prices per month anyway)
Some type of 'record, live pause, record series etc' option.
Am I asking too much in this day of modern technology?
Can I get ESPN & Eurosport with Freesat or Freeview?
Am I thick or is it my age?

You are unlikely to find a TV with a built in Recorder though, usually have to opt for a second box for that. They often have tuners built in but no recording facilities oddly enough 🙂

Get a decent HD ready, and then look at Freesat or BT Vision
