Started on my phone - Chrome on Android 9 with Bitdefender. Every time I go to the site or click a story the advertising preferences pop up appears. Disabled Bitdefender, cleared all cookies, logged out and logged back in, stood on one leg - still happens.
Now it's happening on my W10 PC with Chrome. Same problem, I've tried the same sort of solutions - cleared cookies, disabled all extensions, disabled Bitdefender.
Help!

Last time a thread was started on this annoying issue, the crazy solution that goes against the grain of the last ten years or so, was to enable third-party cookies.
I briefly tried it in Google Chrome and it worked, but I'll be damned if I'm keeping those cookies enabled permanently for this forum.
