We do actually have a key but the lock is buggered and i need to break in.

I think the snib has dropped rendering the lick disoperational.

Its the basement my bikes are in there as are all those handy tools.

I have a drill and añ angle grinder. I'm not overly fussy about the door.

I'm half tempted to go through the floor. Terrible idea?

Thought this was going to be RATM related.

Kick the door down. Will be great fun, a way to work off some stress and practice good kicking technique.

I'd the polis trying to kick the door in downstairs about 6 months ago or so, at 2 in the morning, long story, bams down stairs, the edjits took about an hour to kick it in.

The last polis that had to kick in the same door were a bit brighter(previous woman died, hence the bams taking over the flat for a bit), took one look and tanned the back windae...

I once had to kick my neighbours door down for the police as they couldn’t manage it. I then had to sit around until the early hours waiting for my neighbours son to come around and look after the house. Fun times.

Do you think this information has never made it onto the interwebs? 😆

Update.

I'm in through the floor. Round peg in a square hole type job. I thought i was impressing her with my upper body strength but rather than admiring oohs and aahs

"Can you take this washing and put it in the tumble drier"

Then a comedy planks back over the hatch job.

Barrel drilling wouldn't have work it was the latch mechanism that has jammed. I'm technically stuck down here as there is nothing that will go through the hole in the wall to help me back up.

Haven't heard nailing from upstairs yet.

Can't you just unscrew it from where you are?

After you've sorted the washing, obz.

Take the hinge pins out?

Alternatively, remove trim, push catch out through from the back, open door, present washed, pressed and folded washing.

Wish i had something to fold and present all clean.

I could go up naked with everything folded neatly in my arms...

That's just boastful.
