Genius.
You might laugh now, but when I get my money we'll see who's laughing...
No wonder you are happy hippy.
Good to see their government has intervened.
Now let's hope they take action on other scams.
I'm still waiting for Dr Longa Donga's pills that encourage gentlemen's extensions. Cost me thousands. 🙂
i got a call a few months ago from someone with a heavy west african accent, telling me that he was from natwest and that he need my password for authentication so that he could investigate possible fraudulent activity on my card.
after a moments thought with heavy clock ticking noises in my head, i came to the conclusion that this was obviously the new generation of nigerian scams. "yeah right mate, get your supervisor to call me back " was my reply and i hung up abruptly.
imagine how delighted my liberal conscience was 5 minutes later when his (scottish) supervisor rang back with a direct number for me to call back on ( the number on the back of my credit card ).
😳 i will burn in hell for being a racist pig.
The banks need to change the way they operate, the way they phone people and then ask them security information is basically just training their customers to hand over security information to scammers. They should always phone and request that the customer calls the number on the card.
