Dunno if this has been done already but one of the 50 metre long turbine blades fell off one of the wind turbines at whitelee forest in the early hours of Friday.
I had wondered why the turbines were off over the past few days and heard the brief story on the news last night.
I quite often stand under the turbines and gaze up at them, not sure I'll do that again.
