Hi
looking at getting a pair of walking boots for around £50 what's the recommendations? leather or gortex? Has anyone used the Hi Tec Magnum boots and if so what are they like

i bought some scarpa sl boots yesterday.
wore them today for 3 hrs around the shops and stuff..........very comfy so far.
leather ones by the way.
