Remember the van has a bulkhead unlike car version so cant lay the long bits over the front passenger seat.

Will it work?

Aye junky 6ft3 long do it'd need to be diagnoly with header/footer AND mattress though. Hence the question..

Transit hire it is (shed/garden/tip trips as well)

you'll find commercial vehicles are frowned upon at the tip and there'll be height barriers to keep you. Costs me a £140/ton ( or min charge £99 if its less than a ton) to take a van into the tip here.
