My van gives a rather harsh ride, but the previous owner fitted -50mm lowering springs on probably the original shocks, VW have quoted £120/£80 each, so £400 plus vat, online ther are loads to choose from, but what? I’m not overly bothered about being able to alter the ride height, but a complete coil over kit starts from £250 online, anyways, what are you using?

Set a budget, and get the best bilsteins you can afford.
For the same money you can have b6’s, with a set of eibach springs for an extra couple of hundred.

Before I went T5 I had a T4 and fitted Sachs Super HD shocks to compliment the lowering ... gave a really good ride.
