I've got a 2008 Peugeot Expert 2.0 van. Lately its started clicking only once when I turn the key and wont start. It can do this any number of times, then it starts as normal.
I've recently had a new steering pump fitted and a windscreen wiper motor, no idea if this is related though.
Anyone got any ideas?

Starter motor?
Make sure all the earths were put back properly.
Battery could also be starting to go or starter motor

check the battery terminals, and main earth for security
I've got a 1.6 Partner of a similar age. For me it was the battery that was the problem.
Thanks for the suggestions, I'll have a look to see what I can find. With regards to the battery, when they start to go is it the case that they dont have enough power to operate the starter then?
