I've just bought a van & never insured one before, it's for private use so I know there's probably a fair few people on here with vans, so who would you recommend?

I insured my bike van as a personal vehicle with Aviva. It was no hassle at all tbh.

If it's just a standard production model van van (i.e. not a camper/conversion or anythinglike that), then just use a price comparison site.
Brentacre, Adrian Flux and others are good if you need something out of the ordinary.

You need to be careful with price comparison sites as some may be quoting for business use and other for personal. I think most insurance companies assume you will be using it for business.
