im wanting to get an 'old pocket watch' with chains' valued... do places like H.Sammuels charge you for this procedure.. thanks

My mum works in a "proper" Jewellers and they don't charge.
You'd be better taking to an esbalished business that has experience with antiques and quality items than H Samuals who are just above Argos in my books.
There you will get a more acurate value and probally some history.
